Letter to G.E. Hall [manuscript], 1825 September 29.

Clay responds to an inquiry from Hall, who had asked if Clay would like to change any of the content of an address he had delivered to General Lafayette for the purpose of a biography of the General. Clay decides not to, for it is a decision he "would not feel authorized to make."
